Excellent news –the Cure are playing two nights at the Royal Albert Hall in March (2014) in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. The show is being billed as a “three hour show”, so a short one then (especially compared to their Reflections shows last year at the Royal Albert Hall).
The shows sold out almost instantaneously, although a large number of tickets went on pre-sale on Thursday (is this some kind of anti-tout/anti-scalping plan?) and, thanks to Simon, G&A managed to get a couple. Thanks once again Si!
The Cure will play the Royal Albert Hall on March 28th & 29th, 2014 as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust series. Tickets on sale Friday (Jan. 31st) at 9:30 am. There’s a 4 ticket limit per person.
“One of the UK’s most influential bands, The Cure will play an exclusive 3 hour show on Saturday 29 March. ”
Robert Smith: “The Cure are once again delighted and honoured to be playing the Royal Albert Hall for the benefit of Teenage Cancer Trust.”
