The Cure headlining Glastonbury 1986 was an amazing thing – my first festival and a Cure performance to die for. In fact, the version of a Forest they played that night was exceptional, so much so that I wrote a whole blog post about it.
The Telegraph put together their 100 best all time festival performances, and the Cure Glastonbury 1986 comes in at #8.
Nick Cave features as well from 2009. This is obviously WRONG as their stunning performance from Reading 1992 is clearly better.

Headlining Saturday night, The Cure played a blinder, featuring three encores, and an unplanned but spectacular thunderstorm which broke early in the set so their green laser show played amongst the raindrops.
